In late August, despite the overcast skies and drizzling rain in Shenzhen, the excitement surrounding Formnext remained undiminished. As the 3D printing industry converged—bringing together technologies, products, and innovations—Phaetus arrived with fresh product concepts and technical achievements to connect with users, creators, engineers, and industry partners from diverse fields.

This time, we brought more than just products.

More importantly, we once again engaged directly with our users.

We listened to what truly matters to them and observed the evolving landscape of the industry.

It also prompted us to rethink—What exactly should the next generation of 3D printing upgrade solutions look like?

01  100mm³/s High-Flow Hotend Makes Another Appearance

At this exhibition, the Phaetus high-flow hotend was undoubtedly the "absolute highlight" of the booth. In an era where high-speed printing is becoming increasingly widespread, the industry's focus has shifted from mere "specifications" to tangible "real-world efficiency":

• Can higher flow rates truly translate into faster printing speeds?
• As machine motion speeds continue to push boundaries, how can the hotend avoid becoming a performance bottleneck?

This is precisely the motivation behind Phaetus's continued dedication to high-flow technology. As complete printing systems undergo constant iteration, the stable, thorough melting and efficient extrusion of materials have become the keys to unlocking peak efficiency.

02  Being Heard Matters More Than Being Seen

During the exhibition, we gained more than just foot traffic and attention; we acquired invaluable, firsthand feedback.

From seasoned tech enthusiasts and industry experts to newcomers in the field, the consensus pointed to a single trend: upgrading 3D printing hardware is no longer merely about piling on components or stacking up specifications.

• Can it be faster and more stable?
• Can it handle more complex engineering materials?
• Can it actually solve the problems I encounter during printing?

Truly valuable technology must center on the value it delivers to the user.

This has strengthened our resolve: Phaetus's next-generation products will not chase flashy concepts; instead, they will focus solely on solutions that address real-world pain points.

03  High-Flow Hotend: One Step Closer to Official Launch

According to current product planning, the Phaetus high-flow hotend is expected to go on sale in mid-September.

Meanwhile, versions compatible with mainstream 3D printer platforms will also be rolled out starting in the fourth quarter of 2026.

This means that high-flow technology will no longer be merely a "new product showcase" at an exhibition; it will gradually make its way into the real-world printing workflows of a vast number of users.

From a "new product showcase" at an exhibition......to integration into the actual printing scenarios of countless users—Moving from showcase to real-world application is exactly what we aim to achieve.

04  The Exhibition Ends, but Innovation Continues

The exhibition hall lights will dim.

The booths will be dismantled.

The crowds will disperse.

Yet, we have brought back every face-to-face discussion, incisive question, and valuable piece of advice.

These insights will translate into concrete design revisions for our R&D team, serving as a powerful driving force for the next iteration of our products.

High-flow hotends are merely the starting point of our product roadmap.

Moving forward, Phaetus will continue to develop professional, reliable, and highly compatible comprehensive upgrade solutions for 3D printing, focusing on materials, hotends, nozzles, and core components.
