The nozzle is the key component of FDM heat source assembly (heating and melting wire) and the end of printing forming, the quality of which directly affects the printing quality.For example, due to the wear characteristics of typical brass nozzle in the market, it is difficult to finish the printing and forming of 1kg high quality materials such as PP plastic, with extremely low service life;Stainless steel and other materials nozzles,also have a short life, easily sticky and blocked, causing printing problems frequently.
Generally, many printer nozzles in the market are not focus on the quality requirements of printing parts for customers, but based on the existing nozzle as the benchmark with adjusting and modifying plastic wire material to match.Therefore, printing only implements the display model that does not require high quality, rather than matching the usage requirements of printing parts.
Based on this, the company is completely oriented to the customer needs, to solve quality pain point of high precision and high mechanical properties printing parts for customers as the goal, aiming at nozzle product material and structural design. Finally, the first high-end ruby nozzle was born.
The birth of Ruby Nozzle is a technological research process from the basic principle to the realization of the technology, as well as an important challenge in the process of product research and development.
In order to meet the needs of high-end customers and leave room for the follow-up development of special materials for customers, the R&D personnel uncompromising carried out the material experiment and search of the nozzle based on the quantitative indexes of abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, heat conduction, corrosion resistance, long-term stability and service life required by the nozzle for printing special engineering materials. In this process, the characteristics of brass, (austenitic, precipitation, martensite) stainless steel, titanium alloy, high-quality carbon steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, tool steel and other materials were tested and analyzed. Identifying and selecting, and tackling with products with blackening problems, improving precision, hardness of Cr plating, Ni plating and other internal & external problems.The ruby nozzle finally was born .
Super Wear-Resistance | Using the world's leading ultra-high hardness tungsten carbide (hardness > 2700Hv (up to 2900Hv)), super wear resistance ensures long-term printing without wearness of nozzle hole and tip flat.
High Temperature Performance | Composed of tungsten carbide and copper alloy with super hardness and excellent conductivity, maximum printing temperature can be 550℃.
Low Pushing Force | Tungsten Carbide Nozzle with high purity more than 99.98% and high thermal performance keeps an even temperature of nozzle tip during printing, thus guaranteeing a stable extrusion.
Faster Speed | Due to the high thermal performance of the nozzle in general, the printing speed can be pushed even further without sacrificing the quality. Unique passageway in the nozzle improves the flow rate at the inner hole faster.
Low Friction | The whole nozzle is applied with WS2 nano-coating after adding a hard and smooth nickel plating layer. Surface friction coefficient is as low as 0.03 which makes the nozzle with clean printing, without plastic sticking to it.
